Alum | Ash Hodgkinson

Ash Hodgkinson, known as Ash Magic, graduated from The McDonald College in 2019 and has since amassed over 5.6 million followers on TikTok and 180,000 followers on Instagram, becoming one of Australia’s top social media content creators. His videos have been viewed over 1 billion times and received over 100 million likes.

Ash discovered a love of performing at an early age and progressed from busking on the streets at just eleven years old to studying acting at NIDA.

He has performed live at sell-out shows and headlined festivals, toured Australia and overseas, and appeared in major television shows, including Celebrity Apprentice and the reboot of Heartbreak High.

In 2023, Ash travelled the world with his magic show, Metaverse of Magic, which opened in Sydney and then toured Australia, London’s West End, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. In 2024, Ash appeared in the follow-up to Mad Max, Furiosa, starring Chris Hemsworth.
