CIS Tennis Tournament
On the 8th of June, The McDonald College travelled to Saint Ignatius College Riverview to play in the CIS NSW Schools tennis tournament. The College played against Oakhill College and Newington.
On both occasions the skill and strategy enacted by our team was overpowering and led to success in both games. The players who represented the McDonald College were Charlie Wong, Dario Kmet, Jaewoo Choi and Ethan Lye. All athletes played exceptionally well in their matches. It was exciting to see serves close to 200 km/hr. As an onlooker, it is really impressive to see the effort and training transpire onto the tennis court.
We would like to thank Luke Bourgeois and his team at Voyager Tennis for the opportunity they provide for our students and the support he provides them. Following this tournament, our student athletes are in preparation to play against the Combined Catholic Colleges and the Combined High Schools to represent New South Wales at Albury in the future. Again, congratulations to all that were involved.
