Reflecting on our first Term of the year

The end of daylight saving last weekend marked the change of season and the pending end of Term 1. The Autumn holidays this year incorporate Easter and ANZAC celebrations. For those families traveling overseas or locally, I wish you a safe and enjoyable trip.

When we return to school for Term 2, the students will be in full Winter Uniform. Please see the finer details of uniform expectations in the Student Diary.

Students return to school on Monday, April 28. Secondary students are able to bring a friend from outside of the College to join them for performing arts classes on this day. Remember, Ballet students do contemporary on Monday, and Musical Theatre classes will not be open to guests.

Parents and Friends Association

I thank the outgoing P & F Executive under the presidentship of Clair Sauran, with delegated responsibilities to Kasia Lavorato. Our incoming Executive is:

  • President: Chelsee Burnett (Mailani, Year 1)
  • Junior Vice President: Gwen Richetti (Catalina, Year 6)
  • Secretary: Tolini Kakala (Abigail, Year 6)
  • Treasurer: Carla Cinque (Francesco, Year 6)

Prefects Concert

Thank you for the generosity shown by our community and the hard work of our Prefects, Mrs. Minol, and everyone else involved. This event raised $9,377.30 for the charity, Tomorrow Man/Woman.

Masquerade Gala Dinner

Please join me for an evening of shared friendship, fine food, and support for the College. All funds raised will be directly credited to Stage 3 of our Canteen renovations. I can promise you a wonderful evening with entertainment by our students and fabulous silent and live auction opportunities.

Don’t delay in making your booking.

After-Hour Classes

From Term 2, any student waiting for After-Hours classes will be required to wait in the Library from Monday to Thursday inclusive. Junior Secondary students should report to the Library by 3:30 pm, and Junior School students should report to the Library by 3:40 pm. Any student not waiting for classes should leave the College premises as soon as they are dismissed from academic classes. Those waiting in the Library are to do homework or quiet study. At 5:30 pm, when the Library closes, students will move to the Performing Arts waiting room.
