Our Boarders’ Final Term

As we moved into the last term the graduated Year 12 boarders tackled 4 weeks of HSC exams and our Year 11 boarders commenced their Year 12 studies.

We were fortunate to enjoy two exciting social outings this term. First, we attended a captivating performance of Six the Musical at the Royal Theatre, followed by a cinematic experience watching Wicked.

The school year was filled with a variety of performances and events. The school hosted a multitude of performances, including the MT Cabaret, student-led acting productions, a Dance Choreographic Evening, and various Music evenings. Our talented ballet boarders even graced the stage at an Evening of Classical Ballet. Congratulations to Oliver Austin who has a role in The Nutcracker, as a child extra, which is being performed by The Australian Ballet at the Opera House this Christmas period.

Meanwhile, our Tennis Boarders were busy with individual tournaments on weekends, all with tremendous success!

Beyond academic and artistic pursuits, we found joy in simpler pleasures like baking. We supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month by baking pink cupcakes and later in the term, our Boho elves got together to create delicious Christmas treats as a token of appreciation for all the support we received.

And lastly, at the end of Term, we say farewell to our supervisors Jonny and Billie. They have both have been such a special part of the kids’ boarding experience and we can’t thank them enough. We also farewell our international boarder, Rhiannah, who has been here for a year and will return to Germany for her senior years of schooling. Also, boarder Siofra, who successfully auditioned for and was accepted a place at Alberta Ballet School in Canada.
