Excellence in Sports: NSW CIS Awards Night
In February, we had the honour of celebrating the remarkable achievements of our students at the NSW CIS Awards Night. Among the recipients was Daniel Jankoski, a graduate of the class of 2023, who received the prestigious M.J. Punch Award for Secondary Outstanding Sportsman. This esteemed award is one of the highest accolades for outstanding male athletes in secondary school. Additionally, Daniel was recognised with the Blue with Honours Award for his exceptional achievements in tennis during the previous year.
Joining Daniel in the spotlight was Sebastian Lavorato from Year 7, who was awarded the Primary Boys Award for his outstanding contributions to sports.
The CIS Awards Night stands as a beacon of recognition for students across independent schools in the state who have represented CIS at the highest level, whether as individuals or as part of a team. It is a testament to their dedication, talent, and sportsmanship.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Daniel, Sebastian, and all the students who were honoured at the NSW CIS Awards Night. Your achievements inspire us all and showcase the spirit of excellence that thrives within our school community.
