A Stunning Showcase of Young Talent

On Saturday 16 November we celebrated everything ballet at An Evening of Classical Ballet. Held in the Parade Theatre at NIDA, our 148 students danced to the delight of their family & friends. We were entertained and moved by students aged between 4- 18 years from grades Preliminary to Advanced 2.

We had the honour to have Paul Knobloch from the Australian Ballet create a magnificent piece for our PSB Re-Imagined dancers and Matthew Slattery, formerly with NZ Ballet & Boston Ballet, create a truly elegant piece for our Year 10-12 senior students.

A big thank you to all those wonderful people who made it a very special evening. From our teachers and choreographers to the After Hours administration team, costume department, theatre and technical team, all produced by Peter Kraft.

Thank you to all for your support and kind words of praise. It was an absolute honour to see the joy of the dancers on stage.
