Float to survive
In early December, our Year 7 and 8 students went on an excursion to Dee Why for a surf education program, accompanied by Mrs Murphy, Ms Lasorsa, and Mr Warren.
The program was facilitated by SEA Australia (SEA). SEA is a provider of practical beach and surf programs for schools including surf education, surfing, coastal studies, school sport and in-school surf education.
All programs include life-saving rip education. One of their key messages is, ‘float to survive.’
The kids all agreed that it was both an enjoyable and enlightening day out.
