Award-winning comedian, actor and writer – Felicity Ward

Felicity Ward is a graduate of The McDonald College and an Australian comedian, actor and writer probably best known for her TV appearances on Have You Been Paying Attention, Spicks and Specks, Thank God You’re Here, and Good News Week. She first came to public attention in the Logie-nominated sketch show The Ronnie Johns Half Hour – which she co-wrote and performed in.

She performed her first full-length solo stand-up show, Ugly as A Child Variety Show in 2008, which she toured around Australia and to the Edinburgh Fringe. The show was a commercial and critical hit and won several newcomer awards.  She was also named in the Sydney Morning Herald’s Top 10 comedy shows for 2011, was the face of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and garnered four-star reviews all over the country. Ward continued to tour internationally and sell-out her shows to critical acclaim and awards.

Felicity has also enjoyed a successful career as an actor. In 2014, Ward appeared as Lizzie in the movie, The Inbetweeners 2 – alongside Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas.

She has appeared in several television series, including a starring role in Wakefield and a part in The Letdown which featured Celeste Barber.

Through her stand-up and television work, Felicity has been a strong mental health advocate and has spoken about her own personal experiences, including presenting the documentary Felicity’s Mental Mission (2015) and her Netflix special for Live at the BBC series, What if There is No Toilet? (2017).

In 2023, it was announced that Felicity would be playing the lead role in an Australian remake (8 episodes) of Ricky Gervais’ The Office.
